Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. She was born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. The name of her can also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from both music bloggers as well as media. She's recorded a variety of well-known covers, such as Half the World Away (by the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that were widely appreciated. Her name was also recognized through a tweet from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the track Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard at her loft, where she was attracted by its sounds. Parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for a profession or a hobby, but for growth. Her first step was to compose the songs she wrote herself. Her mother had told her that her songs can not only help her gain not only fame but also help people see the importance of their music within the global community and see the possibilities for them, she decided to perform in public. She began playing the piano when she was six years old and started composed music by the age of nine. The family members didn't know about it until she turned fourteen. Aurora wasn't just a fantasy of childhood. She claims that she likes to write songs. For her, music is the best way to feel everything.
